Leon Apostle specialises mainly in the areas of criminal law and family law. Prior to being called to the Bar, Mr Apostle was recognised as an accredited specialist in criminal law by the Law Society of New South Wales.
He has built a strong trial practice in the District Court of New South Wales and also continues to enjoy conducting family law matters (involving parenting and property disputes) to final hearing before the family courts.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Mr Apostle appeared in courts throughout the State for the Legal Aid Commission of New South Wales, the Aboriginal Legal Service NSW/ACT and also in private practice. Mr Apostle has considerable advocacy experience and thoroughly enjoys appearing in trials during rural circuit sittings.
