Peter has, over his long career, practiced in a range of jurisdictions including criminal law and personal injury, but for the last 15 years he has focused on proceedings involving equitable issues and remedies.
He has a particular interest and substantial experience in probate law and the unique challenges associated with presenting cases in the probate jurisdiction.
Peter has also appeared in commercial disputes, assisted in guardianship applications and appeared in Hague Convention matters involving international child kidnapping.
Based in Sydney, he practices throughout NSW and as far away as London. He has long family connections with western New South Wales and has a particular interest in representing regional and rural clients.
Peter believes in assisting other members of the profession and has done so by presenting many lectures and seminars on subjects such as Family Provision applications, Probate Law and practice, Evidence in Equity proceedings and Equitable remedies.
Peter was called to the bar in 1990 after four years practicing as a solicitor. He graduated from Macquarie University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws.
